Cheryl Carlson-Perrow’s art reflects the adventure in the creative process. She is known as an innovative studio artist exploring new relationships between materials, techniques and mediums. She received her BFA in art education from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and has studied with many exceptional artists whose talents and wisdom have shaped her work and her life. Professional experiences have included commercial art, calligraphic and graphic design studios, her own freelance graphic design studio, teaching classes and workshops in private and public schools, art conservatories, businesses, and higher education. During her 22 years as a professional calligrapher, her clients included Disneyland, the Crystal Cathedral, BayBanks, the Westin Copley Hotel, and the Langham Hotel, among many others. Currently, she is teaching workshops, and continuously exploring new ideas developing her beautiful artwork.
