In-Person Art America: Regional Museums of the United States New England Edition with Sue Altman

There is a wealth of art all across the USA. This lecture offers a description of the museums of  New England, the artists drawn to the area, and the unique works it has inspired. I will also cover the worldwide treasures housed in New England’s many art institutions.

Suzanne Altman is a painter and art educator who earned a BFA from Tyler School of Art and a Masters in Art Education from Pace University. She also studied at the Art Students League of New York, School of Visual Arts, Bennington College, and at various schools on Cape Cod. Altman teaches drawing, painting, and art history to private students and classes ranging from elementary grades to senior citizens. She also lectures extensively throughout the Hudson Valley and Northern New Jersey. Her paintings have been exhibited in Provincetown, the Hudson Valley, New Jersey, and New York City.
