PROVINCETOWN ART ASSOCIATION AND MUSEUM TO RECEIVE $20,000 GRANT FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS

We are pleased to announce that Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) has been approved for a $20,000 Grants for Arts Projects award to support Art Reach, PAAM’s award-winning youth education program. Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s project is among 1,073 projects across America totaling nearly $25 million that were selected during this first round of fiscal year 2021 funding in the Grants for Arts Projects funding category.

“The National Endowment for the Arts is proud to support this project from Provincetown Art Association and Museum,” said Arts Endowment Acting Chairman Ann Eilers. “Provincetown Art Association and Museum is among the arts organizations across the country that have demonstrated creativity, excellence, and resilience during this very challenging year.”

“In these very uncertain times, PAAM is incredibly grateful for National Endowment for the Arts funding,” said Chief Executive Officer Christine McCarthy. “Our commitment to arts education is a pillar of our mission, and the pandemic has challenged us to reinvent, rebuild, and recreate in a stronger way. We could not be more proud of the recognition of our hard work.”

“PAAM is deeply grateful to receive recognition and funding from the National Endowment for the Arts for our youth education program Art Reach,” said Curator of Youth Education Tessa Bry Taylor. “We are honored to collaborate with our community partners, and local, state, and national funding agencies to ensure opportunities for artistic exploration, growth, and community engagement remain widely accessible to young people throughout Cape Cod.”
