Opening Reception for Massachusetts College of Art and Design Student Exhibition at PAAM on Friday, February 27 at 6pm

Provincetown, MA: Every year Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) hosts a thesis show of the students participating in the low residency Master of Fine Arts Massachusetts College of Art and Design at Provincetown’s Fine Arts Work Center. The exhibition opens with a free public reception on Friday, February 27 at 6pm and runs through Sunday, March 15. A free Gallery Conversation with the artists is scheduled at PAAM the day after the opening on Saturday, February 28 at 1pm.

This year’s students are Jessica Cofrin, Joe Diggs, Kit Donnelly, Melisa Keyes, Judith Lavendar, Tom H. Lewis, Michelle Podgorski, Kim Putnam, and Michael Walden.

MassArt at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown (MFAWC) provides a unique opportunity for a select group of artists seeking the optimum low-residency program. This program’s emphasis is on studio production; on structuring interactions and environments where artists can create their work and receive critical feedback. While in Provincetown, students meet and engage with leading artists and art world professionals.
