PAAM Presents: ArtTrek
March 1, 2021
ArtTrek: An Art-Fueled Treasure Hunt
PAAM is thrilled to announce ArtTrek: 2021. In response to COVID-19, the need for social distancing, and limited entries to many venues in town, we created this new art project in hopes of giving people an outdoor activity that connects them with art, the Museum, and Provincetown. Click here to access ArtTrek’s Press Release.
What is ArtTrek?
PAAM has hidden 21 glass bottles all over Provincetown. Each bottle is linked to a unique prize. Inside each bottle lies a scroll with instructions on how to claim your prize.
Where can I look?
All bottles are hidden within the Town of Provincetown on public property; please, don’t disturb private homes or businesses in your quest. No digging or climbing required.
Who can participate?
You, your neighbor, your dog, your brother’s parent’s sibling’s parent’s grandchild (oh wait that’s just you again), anyone!
Is ArtTrek a one-time thing?
Our goal is to do this project every year. Want us to do it again next year? Let us know on Instagram
Why are we doing it?
We all need some fun and sunshine in our lives right now. Hop outside and take advantage of the opportunity to introduce a little adventure in your day-to-days, and maybe even win a new piece of art to adorn the walls you’ve been continually staring at.
21 bottles means 21 prizes! These prizes range from original artwork donated by PAAM member artists to PAAM memberships, to gift certificates and more! Because each prize is connected to a specific bottle, the only way to determine your prize is to head down to PAAM.
I found a bottle. Now what?
Claim your fame:
Snap a picture of the bottle in the location you found it, or better, take a selfie holding the bottle! Tag us (@paam1914) on social media or shoot Christine Burns (firstname.lastname@example.org
) an email with your pictures.
Claim your prize:
Bring your ArtTrek bottle and its scroll to PAAM to claim your prize. Our winter hours are Thursday through Sunday, 12PM-5PM. Please call (508-487-1750) or email us
in advance to book a reservation.
The Fine Print:
No purchase necessary to win. All bottles are hidden within the Town of Provincetown on public property; please, don’t disturb private homes or businesses in your quest. No digging or climbing required. Prizes range and will be revealed upon surrendering the bottle at PAAM. Limit one prize per household.
As of 4/6/21, there are 4 bottles left to be found! The quest continues!
