Throughout its history, PAAM has strived to develop and nurture relationships with its members. From the very beginning of the Art Association, when a group of creative entrepreneurs opened the doors, PAAM has always been a place for artists to exhibit work and appreciators to view and discuss it.
Membership at PAAM offers a chance to get involved in a community organization, a way for artists to exhibit their work, free reciprocal admission to several New England art museums, and discounts in the Museum Store and Museum School. Members also enjoy a year-round lineup of cultural and education programs including concerts, films, auctions, exhibition openings, gallery conversations with artists and curators, and special events.
Programming at this level is made available through the collection of membership dues, as well as through the support of the Board of Trustees and other patrons. Through its membership program, PAAM cultivates relationships with artists and art appreciators, ensuring the perpetuity of Provincetown as America’s oldest continuous arts colony.
