Jim Forsberg was an important figure in Provincetown, where he made his year-round home from the 1950s on. He made contributions there as a teacher, mentor, developer of arts programs, provider of art supplies (and advice), and contributor to theater projects. His thought processes and his work demonstrated a high standard for all serious artists dealing with formal issues of color and form. Exhibition curator Marit Cranmer will be joined by the artist’s daughter, Carol Forsberg, to discuss his artistic contributions, both tangible and intangible.
