Drop-Off Day is Tuesday, October 22 from 12-4pm. Early drop-offs are welcome the week prior to Drop-Off Day during Museum hours only (Thursday-Sunday, 12-5pm). Membership must be valid through December, 2019, anyone is welcome to join or renew when dropping off work. Jury results will be announced by Thursday, October 24, work not selected for the exhibition must be picked up the following week during Museum hours. Pick-Up Day for selected work is Tuesday, December 3 from 12-4pm.
There is no size restriction, but work must arrive dry and equipped with a hanging device. All types of media welcome. 1 submission/person. There is no submission fee for members’ exhibitions.
ABOUT THE JUROR
Sam Tager has been developing, designing, and installing museum exhibitions for over twenty-five years. First, serving as Director of Exhibitions at Harvard’s Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, and more recently as the Assistant Director and Senior Designer for Harvard’s newly formed Museums of Science and Culture. Tager is currently an independent curator and exhibition designer and was recently invited to curate two exhibitions at The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum: The Great Provincetown Summer, 1916 and Creating a Difference: The Del Deo Family of Provincetown, Art and Activism on the Outer Cape (on view through December 2019). Also a studio artist, Tager was awarded a Finalist Grant in Sculpture from the Massachusetts Cultural Council in 2013, and won the National Competition at PAAM, resulting in a one-person show in 1996.
