Ink it Up!

An introduction to creative printmaking with Sally Brophy. Students will re-purpose an eclectic selection of items into experiments in relief printing. Many everyday objects can be turned into a printer including bubble wrap, cauliflower, cardboard, corks, leaves and keys. Once started, there will be no end to the printmaking experiments using affordable materials, with no printing press required. The potential for using the same matrix to print experimental compositions, or combining different print methods with a single image, are endless. This creative investigation is perfect for beginners wanting to have fun or experienced artists looking to stir their creative juices.
