Focus on seeing color and learning techniques that bring brilliant color and presence to your painting, as we explore water vistas in Orleans.
With detailed demonstrations and one-on-one instruction, Nadeau shares her approach to color. Learn to interpret light as it changes and understand value and temperature relationships, thus how to paint the brilliance and drama in the landscape. We’ll consider scale, balance, emphasis, and color development as you compose and strengthen the presence of your subject matter in your own painting.
Inclement weather gives us the opportunity to hone our observational skills, working from fruit and flowers in the studio. Directions to the artist’s studio are supplied upon registration.
