Explore the use of ink, applied freely and expressively, with various pens and brushes, working either from still life or from the imagination. Some of these drawings are then developed further, by adding color using gouache a water-based paint prized for its rich pigmentation and opacity or acrylics, if preferred.
As always in Henry’s workshops, experimentation with the media and with the artists’ spirit is encouraged. This workshop includes morning access to the studio during non-class time.
