Introduction to Gouache with Stacey Alickman
August 3, 1:30-4:30pm, $100

This is a supportive beginner's workshop geared for those who have some understanding of color and what they would like to express. The session includes demonstrations and informal discussion about the results. You’ll gain excitement about the medium and feel more confident practicing on your own.

Gouache is a water-soluble medium with high pigmentation. Its opacity and vibrant color make it an excellent choice for any number of ideas, whether by free association or the development of a particular concept. Gouache also lends itself well to the incorporation of other graphic materials such as ink, pencil and pen.
