| In this workshop we'll work together to bring the spontaneity, gestural quality, and light-shot color of plein air painting back into the studio environment. The workshop will be split between outdoor sessions around Provincetown where we’ll do a series of small painted “sketches,” and studio time, where the work we've done out of doors will be used as the foundation for new work. Sketches can be done in the medium of your choice: watercolor, oil, acrylic wash, pastel, gouache, or ink. This workshop includes morning access to the studio during non-class time. |
