With copious buckets of paint, brushes, and squeeze bottles, pots and pans, we cut loose on supplied canvases. Unleash your “inner Pollock” or simply enjoy the power of play. On Diane’s oak dotted property in the historic district of Eastham, giant outdoor tarps are your playground during this half day session. You will go away with several “abstract expressionist” works of art, meanwhile catching many pointers on color value, intensity, line and proportion to free up your creative “right brain.”
A wonderful experience for all ages and skill levels, but note - any young artists must have a participating adult in attendance. All materials will be supplied. Dress accordingly!!! This workshop will take place indoors in the case of inclement weather.
Register for four or more one-day workshops and receive 5% off.
Directions to the artist’s studio will be supplied upon registration.

Diane Brinker has spent over 30 years doing design and maintaining a highly successful teaching studio in San Francisco and the Napa Valley, and is now bringing her creative measures to Cape Cod. As primarily a printmaker and experimenter, she brings to her workshops an energy and freshness enjoyed by all those wanting the ultimate “Artist’s Date.” At Napa Valley Museum, her classes are known for the passion and enthusiasm she shows for artists of all ages and abilities. A staunch arts advocate and organizer, she has served as appointee on the Napa Mayor’s Round Table for the Arts, as well as chaired the Napa Valley Arts and Culture Alliance. Educated at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Marketing (Art minor), her design creations and products have been widely marketed to the National Parks in the US and Canada since1984. Commissioned memoir pieces, photography, and abstract painting experiments round out her playful and successful approach to art.
