We are seeking to understand and translate our 3D world to the 2D surface of the canvas or paper. As we work to accomplish this we will study and sketch from the model. The goal will be to explore various ways of drawing without stressing any particular style. Any drawing material - pencils, pen, crayon, charcoal - can be used. The work of known artists will be utilized to illustrate a variety of issues and approaches during our sessions together.
