Drawing

The ability to draw is the foundation for many creative disciplines, including painting, printmaking and sculpture. Whatever your interests, the Museum School will keep you engaged in the fundamental art of drawing all summer long.

Learn the basics and hone your ability to create from observation with Doug Ritter in his Drawing Fundamentals workshop. Joan Hopkins’s and Rob Dutoit’s plein air sketching and pastel workshops will help you develop your ability to represent the natural world. Study the figure in the studio with Larry Collins and Jack Coughlin or in nature with Anne Flash. Move towards the art of figurative abstraction with Selina Trieff.
