The Museum School at PAAM - Summer 2008
Through a painting we can see the whole world. – Hans Hofmann

Welcome to Summer 2008 at PAAM !

Out at land’s end where the sky is vast, the dunes, shoreline and jumbled streets of Provincetown are alive with color. Capture the shifting light on the bay; cut into a fresh plank of pine and continue the tradition of the white-line woodblock print; paint and draw the figure; sculpt from objects culled during a walk through the moors—the Museum School is the perfect place to create, to be challenged and to grow.

Museum School workshops are taught by gifted artists who live and work on the Outer Cape. Create in private artists’ studios from Provincetown to Chatham and in PAAM’s sky lit, air-conditioned studios. Our new series of art history lectures, facilitated by artists and experts in the field, utilize gallery exhibitions and the permanent collection to provide an expansive view of this culturally vital region.  PAAM’s popular children’s workshops are designed for maximum fun and to engage young artists in and out of the studio.  Whatever your interests or level of experience, there’s a workshop that’s right for you and those you love.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2008 Summer Program !
