Cover a lot of wall space in this mural painting workshop! Kids will have the opportunity to work together to create a large mural on paper, made of many small parts. You might look at artwork in our galleries for inspiration, or decide to do something from your imagination. We’ll take pictures of your finished piece as a keepsake for you, and of course you’ll get to take your part of the mural home. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in!

Kate Ryan is represented by the William Scott Gallery in Provincetown; her work has been exhibited in many venues including the Tristan Gallery, the Fine Arts Work Center, and the Provincetown Art Association and Museum, (all in Provincetown, MA); The Gallery, Vineyard Haven, MA; the Artist’s Guild, Falmouth, MA; and in Ann Arbor, MI the Yourist Gallery; Washtenaw Community College; and the Ann Arbor Art Association. Ryan taught art in the Ann Arbor Public School system for ten years. She holds a B.A. in Art from Bridgwater State College, Bridgewater, MA, and has studied art at Mass College of Art, Boston, MA, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, and the Museum School at PAAM, Provincetown, MA.
