The Tap Root of the Imagination: Using Materials to Find Your Subject - A Painting Workshop with Robert Henry August 5-8 1-4:30PM $300

In this workshop participants will explore various methods for finding subject matter and for realizing images. They will use processes of drawing and painting, of composition and of materials, as tools for freeing the imagination, in order to find and to give life to expressive images.

Robert Henry’s numerous one-person exhibitions include the Cortland Jessup Gallery and Barbara Inger Gallery in New York, the Janus Avivson Gallery in London, and the Berta Walker Gallery in Provincetown. His work hangs in the permanent collections of Brooklyn College, the Cape Cod Museum of Fine Arts, Columbia University, Pace University, and many others. He is Professor Emeritus at Brooklyn College.
