In this class we’ll make artwork that is bigger than you, but rolls up small to fit in a tube! We’ll start with a charcoal sketch, then dive in with paint, using only the best acrylics and artist grade canvas. We’ll study color, design and look at other artists’ works. Imagine creating an extraordinary painting of a giant tree or a skyscraper or even of yourself. Or make an enormous painting of a tiny thing, like a bee! Working on a large scale allows us to include the details that are sometimes difficult to show in smaller paintings. There’s nothing like holding a big paintbrush loaded with color as you stand in front of a blank canvas!
