In
this weeklong workshop, students will be challenged
to paint what they see; instruction will include
approaches to both traditional and contemporary
subjects, with an emphasis on the study of light
and shadow. Informal studies at the classs
start will be followed by paintings of longer duration
as the week progresses. Students will also have
the opportunity to bring in objects and set up their
own individual still life. This course is open to
all, although some experience in painting will be
helpful.
