Nexus Youth Arts at PAAM
The Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s commitment to accessible arts learning opportunities for young people dates to the 1920s. Today PAAM’s youth programs include partnerships with local schools and organizations; the award-winning Student and Educator Curating Program; the Art Reach afternoon program; the Art on the Edge Saturday program; and the Reaching Forward Student Mentor Program.
Additional opportunities for youth include the Robyn Watson Scholarship for local high school students; Art Adventures, PAAM’s summer workshops for children 6-12 years; PAAM’s Youth Memberships for 12-18 year-olds; internship opportunities; and service on PAAM’s Youth Education Committee.
PAAM provides engaging and welcoming learning environments with skilled teaching artists and educators, to spark and nurture creativity. For information on PAAM’s Youth Programs, please contact Lynn Stanley, Curator of Education at PAAM, 508 487 1750, lstanley@paam.org.
