an evening of fun, food, entertainment in elegant galleries

Be sure to mark your calendar for the seventh annual gala on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 6pm!

On October 1, 2011, PAAM honored the artist Nancy Webb for lifetime achievement at the sixth annual gala event Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner at PAAM. In her remarks, Webb noted Provincetown’s profound effect on her life. Here she met her husband, the late Bill Webb. She first showed her work publicly in a 1947 exhibition at the Art Association. And PAAM exhibited a retrospective of her work in 2006.

The event also honored The Ruth Hiebert Charitable Foundation, whose grants have had a profound effect on PAAM and several other Provincetown institutions such as the Center for Coastal Studies, Helping Our Women, Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, and CASAS.

“The community support of PAAM was so evident,” says executive director, Christine McCarthy. “Besides the 316 people who attended, we are grateful to the many businesses and individuals who were sponsors and donors, and the thirty artists who contributed to the silent auction. The event raised about $123,000.”
