James R. Bakker, in his 21st year as PAAM’s auctioneer, brought the hammer down in a live auction. Highlights featured a fine selection of paintings including works by William Boogar, Dorothy Lake Gregory, Karl Knaths, Henry Hensche, Ross Moffett, Mary Cecil Allen, among others.
This auction also featured a wide selection of works on paper – etchings, watercolors, monotypes - by artists such as: John Whorf, Robert Beauchamp, Oliver Chaffee, LaForce Bailey, Gerrit Hondius, Lillian Meeser, Grace Martin Taylor, Lodewijk Bruckman.
The proceeds from this auction directly benefit the exhibitions and educational initiatives of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Realized prices listed on this page do not include the 15% buyer's premium.
